Cleaning supplies for maple sugaring

Hot water for pans and filters; no soap/detergent on filters (and UMaine: on any equipment); collection gear may be cleaned with 1:20 unscented bleach then triple-rinsed; pan cleaners per the manufacturer; brushes sized to the pan.

Our pick

Top pick: Hot water + a stiff pan brush ($10-$16.75); Leader pan cleaner ($19/qt) for scale
Budget pick: Hot water, unscented bleach 1:20 for buckets, triple rinse; Extension guidance is mostly 'what not to use'; products are commodity items.; What would change it: Nothing material.
