Privacy Policy

Stuck at Home LLC ("we", "us") makes the LuckySapapp for iPhone and runs this website, getluckysap.com. This policy explains what information each one handles and why. The short version: your sugaring records are yours, they live on your device and in your own iCloud account, and we don't sell data.

The LuckySap app

Your sugaring records

The sap collections, boil sessions, notes, and photos you add are stored on your iPhone. If you're signed in to iCloud, the app syncs them to the private iCloud database in yourApple account so they can follow you to a new phone. We can't see or access that data — it's held by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

Location and weather

To show your sap-flow outlook, the app asks for your location while you use it and sends your coordinates to Apple Weather (WeatherKit) to get a forecast. The app remembers your last location on your device so it can refresh the forecast. We don't receive or store your location.

Notifications

If you turn on sap-flow alerts, the app schedules reminders on your device. They aren't sent through our servers.

Subscriptions

Purchases are made through Apple's App Store. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have an active LuckySap Premium subscription. RevenueCat receives your purchase and subscription status, basic device and app information, and an anonymous app user ID — an identifier derived from your iCloud account, or a random device identifier if iCloud isn't available. It doesn't receive your name or email. RevenueCat handles this data under its own privacy policy. We never see your payment details.

Usage analytics

The app doesn't currently send usage analytics to us or to any analytics provider. If that changes, we'll update this policy before it does.

When you contact us

If you email us from the app, your message includes the details you choose to send, plus your app user ID in the subject line so we can help with purchases or sync. We use it only to answer you.

This website

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate; it doesn't use cookies. We may also use Google Analytics to understand which pages and tools help people, including clicks on our App Store links. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes data under Google's privacy policy.

The calculators run entirely in your browser — nothing you type into them is sent to us. If you tap "Use my location" on the sap-flow forecast, your browser shares your approximate coordinates with our server, which rounds them to about a kilometer and asks the US National Weather Service or Environment and Climate Change Canada for a forecast. We don't store your location.

Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps short-lived server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Sharing and selling

We don't sell your personal information and we don't share it for advertising. We only share data with the service providers named above, to run the app and site.

Children

LuckySap isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

• Delete entries in the app at any time; deleting the app removes the data on your device.
• Remove LuckySap's data from iCloud in iPhone Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
• Turn off location or notifications for LuckySap in iPhone Settings.
• Ask us about, or to delete, anything we hold about you: contact@stuckathomellc.com.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date above.
